Hawk''s Hunting Lodge is located just minutes north of Laurel, Mississippi. Just west of I-59 and easy access from the Sandersville exit. Through a gated entrance, you travel along a private paved road to the hunting lodge. The lodge is built on a high hill over-looking a pine plantation and mixed pine and hardwood stands. The lodge was built in 1996 with an addition in 1999. Approximately 1700 square feet of central heated and cooled area with approximately 2700 feet of open porches and garage. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath lodge had a full kitchen, a laundry room with washer and dryer, a large den, and a card room. Timberland: Approximately 660 acres are in 2-year-old loblolly pine plantation. Over $100,000 was spent for tree planting the 2nd generation pine seedling along with a late-season herbicide release. The balance of the acreage is as follows: 40 acres - 20 year-old pine plantation 15 acres - 4 year-old pine plantation 20 acres - mature pine and hardwood 128 acres - stream zones - cut overs, etc. 170 acres - low quality hardwood
