That original business venture that housed the mill, saddle shop and grocery still stands today. Historically referred to as the Old Mill and Ford's Flour Mill, The Greenville Station is believed to be the oldest commercial building in Greenville. Construction on the three-story brick structure began in 1810 and finished in 1812. Besides housing Ford's grocery and the saddle shop, the Old Mill was the Greenville Post Office from 1823 to 1973 when a new Post Office site was chosen.

Only 15 minutes from Louisville, Kentucky, The Greenville Station is a historical landmark and our goal is to bring it into the 21st century. Surviving nearly 200 years - as a station along the Pony Express line, carriage stop, town fire station, Masonic & Oddfellows lodge hall, local grocery, and most recently an antique shop - The Station was the only building to survive a turn of the century fire that devastated the town of Greenville. It was restored after a tornado removed the third story of the building. It has triumphantly remained despite Mother Nature, human error, and changing times.
