The Merchant Hotel Building, located in historic Old Town, was originally designed as a luxury hotel. Today, it is one of Portland' s best remaining examples of Victorian Italianate cast iron architecture. This creative office designation offers spaces with high ceilings and exposed brick.

Old Town is located in the NW corner of Portland, near the Burnside Bridge and Tom McCall Waterfont Park. During the Victorian-era it was the heart of Portland, and this historic charm is still present in the architecture of the many red brick warehouses, cast iron facades, terra-cotta tile storefronts andbuildings made from locally quarried stone.

Today, this historic district is known for having a diverse community. This district is home to Chinatown and a multitude of community, social, and civic organizations. The neighborhood continues to thrive and grow with ever increasing addition of boutiques, restaurants, night clubs, and galleries.

Old Town is within close proximity of the North Park Blocks and Central Downtown and has multiple commuter options available including the Portland Street Cars and TriMet bus system.
