Each of the completely renovated guest rooms (2004) features Broyhill' s Attic Heirlooms collection of hardwood furnishings and quality artwork by Albrecht Bierstadt and Thomas Moran, unique to lodge style and to Oregon' s rugged country. Each room is equipped with a cable enabled 27 television, clock radio, microwave, refrigerator, voice messaging, blackout privacy curtains, door view port, and luggage rack. The vintage tiled bathrooms have a shower and tub unit and a pedestal sink with a privacy window. The Lodge is equipped to offer free wireless internet to its guests. The Lodge offers handicapped accessibility. The property is beautifully landscaped. The property has a small apartment with a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living area for use by a manager/owner/operator.

Rugged Country Lodge (RCL) is located where State Highway 11 meets the east boundary of the City of Pendleton (Hwy 11 is the most direct route to Pendleton from Walla Walla, WA). RCL is the first Pendleton Lodge for motorists headed west on Interstate 84. The Lodge is just two blocks from both St. Anthony' s Hospital and the Pendleton Woolen Mills retail store and is the closest Lodge to Wildhorse Resort and Casino (four miles to the east). Lodge is a two minute drive (approximately ten blocks) from historic downtown Pendleton with its shopping, cultural and dining offerings.
