The UST system is monitored by a VeedeRoot TLS-350 electronic monitor. The site is environmentally compliant with no open violations as of 3-16-10.

The location is in a metropolitan area about a mile west of I-17 in central Phoenix. All 4 corners of the intersection are developed into retail properties. Grocery-anchored center behind station remodeled 2010. Both Glendale Ave & 35th Ave. have commercial development within a 1 mile trade radius. The side streets lead into established neighborhoods with both SFH and high-density housing.
