This parcel is approximately a 35-40 minute drive from the town of WELLS, just off Interstate 80 in north central Nevada. Great location with easy access to I-80. There are beautiful views of the Pequop Mountain Range to the east and the rugged Wood Hills to the west. There is extensive wild life. Newmont Mining, a multi-billion dollar mining compary and FronteerGold announced a $2.33 billion deal for Newmont to acquire Fronteer for its Long Canyon Project and two other Nevada projects. Long Canyon is a few miles east of Independence Valley and has tremendous potential for development to meet the needs of miners.

Go east on I-80 for 16 miles to the Independence Valley exit. Turn south to the access road paralleling I-80 and go back west for 1/2 mile. Turn left (south) for 9 1/2 miles to Warm Springs Ranch. Continue south about one mile and turn left (east). Go 1 3/4 miles to the intersection of an east/west dirt road. Continue straight for 4/10 of a mile. You will be at the northern border of the 640 acre sale parcel. Continue southeast for one quarter mile to the eastern edge of the parcel.
