Austin Commercial Real Estate Society (ACRES) is a private organization composed of the top 75 commercial real estate brokers in the Austin, Texas area. Membership is by invitation only to those who meet the general membership requirements with the objective to unite such Brokers in order to foster knowledge, education, integrity, professionalism and quality workmanship in the fields of commercial and investment real estate business. Our monthly meetings provide keynote speakers to inform our members of the latest economic and political developments affecting the real estate industry and our market area, as well as, foster friendships, that allow for the free exchange of information among the members in order to create business opportunities through networking. A recent survey of our 75 members revealed an average of 18 years experience in the commercial real estate business with nearly 20% holding CCIM designations and 12% holding SIOR designations. The average number of brokers per each respective office is 7 and their brokerage work listed in order of importance, is the sale of Land, Industrial, Office, Retail, and Multi-family properties. ACRES is highly regarded within the Austin real estate circles as an organization of the top professionals in the industry with the knowledge and experience to serve the public well.
