Commercial broker Josh Otting, with Apartment Realty & Management, LLC in Madison Heights, MI closed another deal with help from his LoopNet Premium Membership. "I typically close one sale per month to a prospect sourced through LoopNet" said Otting, who has been a LoopNet Premium Member for over five years. In a recent transaction, Otting sold a low-rise multifamily property to a local investor who contacted Otting through LoopNet. The sixteen-unit apartment building, which had a cap rate over 10% and no deferred maintenance, immediately caught the attention of LoopNet's investment community. "Within twenty-four hours of posting the property to LoopNet, I started getting inquiries," raved Otting. In all, the property received over 2,500 property views on LoopNet and closed sixty days after it was posted. "LoopNet Members submitted three offers on this listing," continued Otting. The combined vacancy rate for office, retail and industrial properties in the Colorado Springs area jumped to 9.4% in Q3, according to a report by Turner Commercial Research.
