Franklin Purchases Chicago's Congress Center
Franklin Street Properties Corp. has agreed to pay $130 million for One Congress Center, a 522,000 sf office building in downtown Chicago. The Boston investor is buying the 16-story building from Triple Net Properties, in a deal brokered by Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Chicago office. Read Full Story

NYC Owns Land Needed for $3B Project
New York City owns 40% of the land slated for the $3 billion Willets Point mixed-used project in Queens, NY. The Council is scheduled to vote by Nov. 13 on whether to proceed with the project, which calls for a hotel, convention center, 2.2 million sf of office and retail space and 5,500 housing units.
