Description

The Park consists of 5 Mobile Home spaces with 27 RV full hookup sites with, 13 RV dry camping sites, one laundry/storage building and one small storage building. The Park is in the flood way and the City of Pomeroy will not allow any new manufactured home to be installed in to the Park, the City will allow RV use. The Park has City water and sewer, overhead power and has paved roadways. The Laundry is closed from October 1st to May 1st each year as the RV traffic slows down in those months. The Park has PVC water lines and the sewer lines are a mix of clay tile and PVC. Space 1 or 16 could be used for a shower/club house facility for the Park or the existing laundry building has an area that could be improved to have showers. Welcome to the Blue Mountains. The Blues run from its northern tip in the southeastern corner of Washington to its southern extremity in northeastern Oregon. This range of mountains includes the Umatilla National Forest. Umatilla is an Indian word meaning "water rippling over sand."

The mountains are full of mixed fir, ponderosa and lodge pole pine, cedar, hemlock and spruce. The summit ridge in the Blues has an elevation from 6,000 to 7,000 feet. Most mountains are blue, but these are bluer. The Blue Mountains support one of the largest herds of Rocky Mountain elk found in any national forest in the nation. It also has deer and other wildlife.
