Description

PBM farms is the jewel of Butte Valley.  This is a working organic alfalfa and barley ranch that sits on over 2477 acres with 19 parcels.  There are 10 newer pivots with 3 more due to be completed in 2009.  Water is gold and this ranch has lots of it.  Eight wells which produce a total of over 15,000 gallons per minute. The ranch sits at 4500 ft elevation and usually gets four cuttings. The farm has 4 homes, 2 barns, shops, outbuildings, scales, silo's and is enrolled in the Private Lands Management program that allows for a late season hunts.  This year they get 5 mule deer tags, 1 antelope tag and 1 junior tag.  The ranch also has the only organic grain silo's in Butte Valley that holds 2600 tons of grain. The ranch has plenty of room to expand and with the price of hay the last few years, this ranch will be a great investment.
