J.T.' s Bar & Grill has been in business for over 15 years in Cherry, IL and has been serving a full menu including tavern fried chicken and the finest BBQ ribs in the area. The restaurant is housed in one of the last remaining buildings from the late 1800' s. The building was remodeled in 2005 to try to recapture a time gone by, utilizing modern updates. It features the original tin ceiling, light boxes, and entrance area that revealed themselves during the remodel. The entrance is adorned with a charcoal rendering of the town' s late 1800 era coal mine done by a local artist. The 2005 remodel included improved period lighting/ ceiling fans and woodwork throughout the building. Recent improvements within the last five years include new HVAC units, flooring, roof, electric, insulation and fixtures. Included with the restaurant is an upstairs three bedroom apartment with appliances and all restaurant equipment.

This restaurant is on Main Street in Cherry, IL, a small farming community in North Central IL that is noted for the "Cherry Mine Disaster of 1909."
