Wapiti Mountain Ranch is a ranch preservation community consisting of 12,000 deeded acres of pristine forest, rugged canyon lands and wide open natural grasslands. The ranch is located in the southern reaches of the Laramie Mountains and consists of 11,911 + deeded acres, 640 acres of Wyoming state lease and 1,060 acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land. The topography of the area includes rolling meadows and grasslands, red rock buttes and mesas with timbered covered canyons leading to the high country. There are several water features scattered throughout the ranch, including some beautiful water falls. Elevation on the ranch ranges from 7,600 to 8,600 feet. The location of this ranch provides easy access to the Medicine Bow National Forest and the Snowy Range Ski Resort for added year round outdoor recreation.
