The subject is located in South Everett, about five miles south of the Everett CBD, 10 miles northeast of Lynnwood and 27 miles north of the Seattle CBD. Everett is the county seat of Snohomish County and the largest city with a 2007 population of 96,885. It is projected to grow to 102,441 by 2012 according to Site To Do Business (STDB) data. The city' s population has grown by 5,400 people since the 2000 census. Everett is home to Naval Station Everett, home port for the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) carrier group and several support vessels.
