Description

Diamond Acres, long the site of a clam shack and ice cream operation, convenience store with gasoline, and a 2-3 bedroom home. The store building burned down in 2008. The home was unaffected by the fire. A new foundation exists and there is a kit of building materials on-site to build a 35 x 90 building. A building permit is already in place. Also has gasoline tanks, pumps canopy etc. with 693 ft of road frontage.

Hillsborough is a town of red barns, white clapboard churches, rich history and beautiful scenery. Located in the Monadnock Region of Southwestern New Hampshire, there is plenty to do year-round. In the Spring maple syrup is made and you can go kayaking on the Contoocook River. In summer you can swim in one of the many clear lakes, ride a hot air balloon during the annual Balloonfest in July or see one of the historic stone arch bridges. Fall foliage season brings brilliant colors and fall festivals to the area. Check out one of the local artisans' fairs. Go hiking in Fox State Forest or bike some of the many miles of designated scenic roads. In the winter enjoy nearby alpine skiing, go XC skiing in Pillsbury State Park, try your patience at ice fishing or shop in the quaint and charming stores.
