Kapolei Village Center is located at the intersection of Kapolei Parkway and Wakea Street with easy access to and from the new H-1 freeway on and off ramps. The site is adjacent to Kapolei' s only planned transit center which will serve as a hub for all bus routes and is planned to be a rail stop for Honolulu Rapid Transit' s new rail system. The center is also adjacent to the City Center which is planned to house 9 city blocks of high-rise development. Kapolei is the fastest growing area in Honolulu and has an under-served retail market. It has a great base of jobs with substantial growth projected. Government is encouraging growth of Kapolei as the second city.
