Ford Sells Irvine, CA Office Complex

Ford Motor Co. has sold a 270,000-square-foot office complex in Irvine, Calif., for $73 million. Transpacific Development Co. of Torrance, Calif., bought the two-building complex, at 1 Premier Place, in a deal brokered by CB Richard Ellis. The automotive company will continue to lease some space in the property. Taco Bell Corp. will relocate its headquarters into 180,000 sf of the complex next year under a 10-year lease that Ford negotiated before selling the property.
