Water is stored in surface ponds with a total capacity of approximately 4.0 acre-feet as well as two redwood holding tanks with a combined capacity of 135,200 gallons. Runoff water is captured into the surface ponds and water is recycled through two onsite sand filtration stations. All fields and drainage ditches are covered with plastic/weed-matt ground cover which facilitates the recapture of the unused irrigation water, general runoff as well as naturally occurring rain water. Reportedly, the property has never run short on water resources between the wells and rain capture systems. Typical rural utilities including electric power, propane.
