ABOUT NORTH CLAYTON/AIRPORT
North Clayton/Airport is centered on Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which has ranked as the busiest in the world for more than 20 years. Hartsfield-Jackson is the prime driver of economic activity in this part of Atlanta. The airport is Georgia's largest employment hub and generates more than $35 billion in direct economic impact annually. Delta signed a 20-year lease in 2016, and the airport is undergoing a $6 billion upgrade package for the terminal and other facilities. Several projects have come on the heels of these announcements, including plans for office developments and hotels adjacent to the airport.
