Located in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Hidden Falls offers 1,100 acres of forests, fields, mountainous terrain, a small lake with an island, and eight "hidden" falls. Overnight facilities include platform tents, screened-in cabins; winterized modern cottages, large dining hall, a large pool and cabins for warm weather use and a lodge with a large kitchen. Pike County, created on March 26, 1814 from part of Wayne County, Pennsylvania, was named for General Zebulon Pike. The "Niagara of Pennsylvania", Bushkill Falls is among the most famous scenic attractions. This unique series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible through an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges.
