Here is your change to own a profitable and growing VRBO. The Gander Inn Motel web site is www.ganderinn.net. Trip Advisor is another place to look at the Gander Inn and its popularity. In the fall of 2016 the owners rebranded this property from B&B to vacation rental property. The property is 1.5 acres and is fully landscaped with an automatic sprinkler system. The buildings consist of 5-bedroom lodge with common area, dining room, seats 25-30 and a galley style kitchen. They have continually worked on curb appeal as well as comfort in the rooms. The property has been taken care of and the owners are not aware of any needs at this time. In 2017, the owners listed the Lodge on VRBO and occupancy has jumped 240% over previous years. The laundry room has new commercial technology washer and dryer. The lodge/motel was freshly painted in 2014. A new roof was installed in 2013 on the lodge and motel, the roofs on the other buildings are metal. A commercial 100 gal hot water tank that services the Lodge and motel was replaced in 2014. The water system is run by a well and the water treatment equipment is leased. The motel consists of 6-motel style rooms, rooms have refrigerators, micro waves and coffee pots. Televisions have been upgraded to flat screens. Again, pictures of the rooms can be seen on the website, click on “motel rooms.” As of August 2017, the owners are listing the motel rooms on Airbnb along with the cottage and lodge. The calendars will link together between VRBO and Airbnb. The cottage is a one bedroom with small kitchen area with eating area and living room. When you look at the web site, click on “cottage”, there are up to date pictures. The hot water tank in the cottage has also been replaced. The cabin was changed from storage area to living space in 2014, which is the white building in the pictures. This building is completely new on the inside. It is a 1 bedroom with a closet and a private laundry room, bath, full kitchen and a comfortable living room. This would be a great space for an onsite manager. The power supply has been updated, a new 200-amp breaker box for the cabin area, 100-amp service to the kitchen in the Lodge. There are separate breakers for the larger air conditioners that service the rooms.
