Representing buyers, sellers and renters, Fern earned a New York Residential Specialist designation–REBNY’s highest professional credential for residential agents in the city–putting her in an elite group of representatives who completed an advanced course of study covering negotiation, ethics and real estate law and finance. She has sold well over $400 million of residential and commercial real estate in Manhattan in the last decade alone. Fern brings to the table a valuable blend of analytical business savvy and negotiation skills gained from several years spent in the finance industry prior to real estate, where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions. Her focus now is on residential sales and purchases of coops, condos, new developments, new construction, mixed-use buildings, income-producing properties, townhouses and high-end luxury apartments all over Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn. She takes great pride in satisfying her customers, staying focused on their goals in a streamlined process until they are met. Affable and easy-going, she is comfortable working with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. Originally from Cairo, Fern speaks French and Arabic, and received a bachelor’s degree from CUNY in mathematics and romance languages and a master’s from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration in quantitative analysis. She also earned an MBA in finance. She volunteers for the Susan Komen Foundation, is active with several youth organizations, and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club. The proud mother of three grown, highly successful children, Fern works closely with her husband and business partner, Michael Hamberger.
