Workers from Laramie River Station fills up the motel for 3 months, Along with the traffic generated by Interstate 25, this is one of the better performing small motels that you could buy in the price category. - Property also has a large trucking parking lot. **The Laramie River Station is currently planning for the installation of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) emission control technology on one unit. SCR is a process where precise amounts of ammonia-based reagent are combined with the flue gas to speed the reduction of NOx into nitrogen and water with the aid of a catalyst. One of the most visible components of the project will be a 250-foot tall SCR reactor structure. The project is estimated to cost about $330 million. Construction of the SCR project is expected to begin in Spring 2017. Initial construction workforce estimates show a peak of 225-250 construction workers onsite in Fall 2017, and a similar number onsite for a short period in spring 2018. Between these peak counts, the average workforce will be about 150 workers.
