Jared Shapiro, Vice President
Jared Shapiro is a Vice President and member of Colliers National Retail Group. He specializes in advisory and transactional services on multi-tenant retail and net-leased properties throughout the Midwest.
Jared joined Colliers in Fall of 2024 after a successful 5 + year career with the PWF Team of Marcus & Millichaps IPA Division. Prior to Commercial Real Estate, he had a 15 year medical device sales and has quickly gained significant experience in the analysis and sale of neighborhood retail strips, unanchored and grocery-anchored community shopping centers, and single-tenant net-leased retail & medical assets including casual dining restaurants, fast food, and banks. His clients include numerous family trusts, private investors, and regional real estate companies who have found him to have excellent communication skills and an aptitude for delivering results on challenging assignments.
Jared received his Bachelor’s degree in business from Ferris State University and currently resides in Cleveland with his wife, Kim, and three children.

Matt Terrace, Senior Vice President- Investments
For close to a decade Matt has completely immersed himself in many different aspects of commercial real estate, from retail to development to construction to acquisitions and dispositions, but specializes in Commercial Investment Dispositions and Acquisitions. Matt was exposed to the industry at a young age as it is a family passion handed down through generations. Matt has served both private and institutional clients such as Garrison Investment Group, True North Investments, LNR Partners, Integris Ventures and Alidade Capital. He has also worked with a number of national Tenants in the market including Pet Supplies Plus, Czarnowski and Nuance Communications. Matt’s successful approach stems from the ideology of fully comprehending his client’s needs and consistently putting them first.
Barry Swatsenbarg, Executive Vice President
In 2015, Barry joined Colliers International to expand the Colliers Detroit office reach with his investment sales expertise. He is consistently in the top 200 nationally for Colliers. Barry has been an active investment sales agent for over 24 years, transacted on over 500 deals; 15,000 apartment units and more than 30M SF of commercial assets. He operates exclusively as a sell-side broker, with transactions spreading across all major investment commercial real estate property types.
