Heather Jones and Alyssa Yount first crossed paths while attending the University of Georgia in 1999, while working toward their Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in the College of Education. After graduating in 2001, both worked in the Gwinnett County School System, where the two would continue to cross paths at various county meetings and continuing education programs. A few years later, both clinicians were led to go into private practice and they worked individually in a variety of home and early education settings for several years, staying in touch and collaborating on developing their businesses. In 2005, Heather and Alyssa began meeting and discussing the possibility of opening a clinic site as a joint project. From these early discussions, Cobblestone Therapy Group was born and officially opened for business on July 6, 2006.

Owning several other locations in Northern Alabama, Chris Clowers and Mike Ellis partnered with Roswell native Kyle McCarter and Andrew Justin. Moe's Original Bar B Que features award-winning Bama-style pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken smoked over hardwood served with two unique sauces in addition to Catfish and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. Additionally, a daily rotation of traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts are served fresh daily from recipes passed down for generations. Large party takeout orders and full service catering for parties and special events with delivery are also available. This BBQ joint is open daily at 11am with a full premium bar and family-friendly games like bingo and trivia during the weekdays and live music on the weekends.

Peach & The Porkchop has been a dream of Chuck and Alyssa’s for many years. The name came about 18 years ago when Chuck, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, met Alyssa’s parents, true Southerners, for the first time. At the time Chuck was the Owner/Operator of Dootlittle’s 19th Hole in Vail, Colorado. Alyssa’s father Fred said to the two of them, “If you ever open a restaurant together, you should name it Peach and The Porkchop.” When their dream was becoming a reality, they took Fred’s advice and the rest is history!
