Location Overview: Houston, Texas is a city in Harris County seated in the southeastern region of the state, the SureStay Plus by Best Western is located 15.2 miles from Downtown Houston and eight miles from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport IAH. The region boasts significant upside potential with developments and renovations planned in the near future. In June 2014, the Houston City Council unanimously passed an agreement to demolish the existing Terminal D at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and construct a new modern facility with new gates to accommodate 15 large wide-body jets, including international arrivals. It is expected that the renovation works will last at least until 2021. Additionally, 2016 marked the completion of the new $440 million Terminal E. The airport is Houston's largest and currently ranks third in the United States among U.S. airports with scheduled non-stop domestic and international services. The campus is home to the new Amazon $136 million fulfillment center construction which is an 855,000 square-foot facility and the company employs 3,500 workers in Houston.
