62 acre parcel zoned RM This parcel is a very unique piece as it is the only parcel available in the immediate area zoned RM, enabling condos, townhouses, duplex units or single family units on smaller area of ground, as well as cluster housing concepts. A topography study and full survey have been completed on this parcel, preliminary plans have been discussed with the planning board, school district, fire department and police department, and all have been favorably received. All meetings were informal and no formal plans have been approved. This area is eligible for government subsidizing, which would allow for buyers to purchase units with no money down. The government subsidizes 20,000 dollars as a down payment that is forgiven if the buyer remains owner for ten years. If not, the debt must be repaid. A similar project, a half a mile away, is involved with the same program. A 12.67 acre parcel less than 1 quarter mile away, sold at 1.2 million.
