Lakeview Inn is a classic 16-room bed and breakfast in Naples, Maine. Located 30 miles northwest of Portland in the heart of western Maine lakes and mountains region, the inn is just 100 yards from Long Lake and 4 miles from Sebago Lake State Park. Lakefront restaurants, marinas and all waterfront activities are a short walk from the inn. Currently operated seasonally, May-October but operated on a year round basis for over 30 years prior to present owners. Recently renovated 2014-2016 inside and out. Expansive covered front porch overlooking the lake and inn's 1/2 acre of lawn and gardens. The inn encompasses 4 floors with the guests' great room and dining area located on the ground (1st) floor. A stone fireplace is the focal point here with several comfortable conversation areas along with a dining area with seating for 24. Sixteen guest rooms, all with private baths are located on the 2nd-4th floors. The original wood floors in the guestrooms were restored to their original beauty. All furniture, mattresses, air conditioners, TVs, and linens have been replaced since 2014. A guest convenience center with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and sink is located on the 3rd floor. The entire inn (interior, exterior and furnishings) have been updated/renovated from 2014-2016. The owners' quarters is in the rear of the inn on the ground level with a private entrance. Renovated 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom with tiled shower and wood floors. The kitchen was updated in 2016 with cherry cabinets, granite countertops and stainless appliances. A dining area, living room and large laundry area complete the owner's quarters. The off-street, 16 space parking area for guests was newly paved in 2017. A gazebo offers an alternative from the covered porch for guest relaxation and sits among a manicured lawn and numerous perennial gardens.
