Griffin Hay Farm (The Farm) is a 320 Acre working hay farm located at 1500 County Road, 125, Westcliffe, CO 81252 in Custer County, CO. It produces a premium quality high mountain native grass hay which is sold to horse ranches, equine boarding facilities, race tracks and cattle ranches in a four-state surrounding area. The property has been a working farm since the mid-1800s. It has 5 Named & Deeded water rights dating back to 1871. The USDA calls the property, “Farm #121” in Custer County, CO. The Deeded Water rights irrigate the property through a flood irrigation process created from mountain snow melt that develops into named creeks and ditches that run through the property.
