The apartments have a European feel with high ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors. This attractive prewar building stands out in the neighborhood as it has a marquee which is the distinctive detail of this building. This maybe a feature incorporated by an architect better known for building theaters in New York. There are wrought-iron front doors. The first two floors are made of limestone with voussoirs over the ground-floor 98th Street windows. The understated upper 5 floors are made of red brick, with vertical brick soldiers defining the window bays on the east and west side of the building façade. Above the sixth floor is a limestone string course. Classical details also include modillions and dentils, as well as a wrought-iron railing across the 7th floor. The upper two floors have three Corinthian pilasters in the middle two (of six) sets of windows between below the limestone entablature.
