Bloom by PRC Richmond is a nonprofit pregnancy resource center offering free and confidential services to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. Established in 1982 as part of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond, Bloom provides medical-grade pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, options counseling, and parenting education. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) and does not perform or refer for abortions. Bloom also offers practical assistance through its Seeds of Success program, which includes parenting classes, support groups, and material resources such as diapers and baby clothing. With two locations in Richmond, Bloom serves hundreds of women and families annually, providing a safe, compassionate environment and connecting clients to community resources for housing, healthcare, and adoption services.
Over the past 39 years, Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond has been a loving refuge and a valuable resource for over 38,000 women and men who were unprepared for pregnancy and in need of life-affirming choices; choices that uphold the sanctity of human life, choices that offer hope and a future abundant in blessings, choices that affirm the lives of moms, dads and babies. All of the services they offer are free and confidential to all of our patients and clients. Being able to provide services at no cost to the teens and women that come to us for help oftentimes makes the difference between the mothers choosing to carry to term or terminate their pregnancy.
