Located in Leavenworth County (population 82,184), the community has been one of the fastest growing in Kansas. Tonganoxie is also home to the internationally known retailer of high-end clothing, Peruvian Connection along with S&S Alloy, Biomedical Devices of Kansas, HMC Performance Coating, Mid Star Lab, Industrial Service Technologies, and a mix of quaint small shops.
