The 1890' s Victorian building houses 8 guestrooms, a living room parlor, dining room, kitchen, office, public sitting areas, and the manger' s unit. The separate building in the back called the Summer House holds the two additional guestrooms including the Country Suite which occupies the entire second floor and includes a kitchen. When the Inn opened in 1981, it immediately became a special place to relax and renew the spirit. Guests are provided with a bountiful hot made-from-scratch breakfast served at intimate tables for two in the dining room or outdoor patio. Santa Barbara is a year-round tourist destination renowned for its fair weather, downtown beaches and Spanish architecture. Tourism brings more than one billion dollars per year into the local economy, including $80 million in tax revenue. Popular attractions include Mission Santa Barbara, theatres, museums, festivals, wineries, beaches, surfing, shopping and more.
