Dilly Place is located within the historic community of Dilworth and is one of the most “walkable” communities in all of Charlotte. Dilworth was Charlotte’s first streetcar suburb established in the 1890s just outside of the original city limits. Today, much of the Dilworth neighborhood is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Dilworth Historic District, including 224 East Boulevard. Home to Latta Park the neighborhood features numerous shops, offices, restaurants and homes within walking distance of Dilly Place. Charlotte’s LYNX light commuter rail abuts Dilworth within a block and a half of Dilly Place. The neighborhood is unique in that it offers true mixed-use diversity (retail, office, institutional, and residential) within one of the finest residential and most popular areas in the City. Dilly Place is located within the rapidly growing South Boulevard area increasingly accommodating mixed-use residential developments.
