ABOUT RANCHO DOMINGUEZ

Rancho Dominguez is a centrally located industrial hub that lies a few miles north of the twin ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The area is ideally situated along several important transportation corridors. Interstate 710, the main highway leading out of the ports, forms the eastern boundary of the neighborhood. And the Alameda Corridor, a 20-mile long freight line connecting the ports to the national rail system near downtown Los Angeles, runs directly through Rancho Dominguez.

This is primarily an industrial community, with numerous small- to mid-sized manufacturing firms, particularly those in machining, fabricated metals, packaging, and tooling parts for the nearby refineries.
