The city serves as a commercial hub for over 250,000 people, and it is increasingly becoming a health care nexus with hundreds of medical specialists and expanding clinics. St. Cloud is home to manufacturing plants for Electrolux appliances, New Flyer Industries and distribution center for Bluestem Brands, Inc. Another major part of the economy is tourism.
