The old runways become a system of waterways and greenways that link the village center and neighborhoods with the waterfront. The developer has rights for 3,200 residential units, 700,000 SF of commercial space, and has successfully sold over 150 homes in their initial phase. The marina site, at the North end of the development has complete entitlements for a 117 wet slip marina and 240 boat capacity dry storage facility. This site is truly “shovel ready” with FDEP and USACE permits in hand. Permits are valid thru June 2022. The transferable permits authorize the permitee to excavate & construct a full service marina located at the North end of the development. Slips will utilize floating concrete docks and finger piers that would accommodate vessels 40 to 60 feet in length and drafting up to 7'. There will be 68 permanent slips and 1,454’ of flexible mooring area. There will be two launching slips in support of an upland dry storage facility, and a full service fuel dock. The 7.33 acre marina basin is approved to be excavated from existing uplands. A dry storage facility with a 240 boat capacity, restrooms, and an office/retail facility will be located on the uplands adjacent to the wet slip marina basin. A permitted depth of -8 (MLW) is authorized under the permit.
