THE TENANT Founded in 2003, Slim Chickens (SCs) is a fast casual concept that serves fresh, hand-breaded tenders and cooked-to-order wings, served in homemade sauces made from fresh ingredients. Headquartered in Fayetteville, this fast growing brand currently operates 69 locations. In 2013, the first franchise location was opened; the next year, six regional franchise deals were made. In a partnership with Persian Gulf conglomerate Alghanim Industries, the first international Slim Chickens opened in Salmiya, Kuwait in May 2017. A London branch opened at 35 James Street in March 2018. A Cardiff branch opened in St David’s Dewi Sant in 2019. THE SLIM CHICKENS STORY We began serving our fresh chicken tenders to our friends and now, over a decade and countless of happy customers later, we know that there’s just something about our fresh chicken, hand-breaded, cooked to order, and served with sauces made daily in our stores that folks keep coming back several times a week, over and over again. Our tenders, wings, sandwiches, salads, and wraps are so habit-forming! Several customers have told us that it has truly changed their weekly routines. That they can’t pass by one of our stores without stopping in. That our food was simply life changing, and that they can’t get enough. OUR MISSION Serving great food in a great atmosphere is first. We strive to serve our communities as we serve our customers – beyond expectation. Whether it’s sponsoring the local youth soccer team, or donating a portion of our proceeds on a busy night to a local charity, our mission is to give back to the communities we serve in a way that changes lives for the better.
