History: The Iron Horse Station is made up of three adjoining historic buildings located along the main street of Hot Springs. The original Inn was built in 1929, while today's Restaurant & Tavern, formerly a haberdashery and later a movie theatre, was reported to have been built prior to 1890 and is said to be the oldest building in the county. The present Shops, including a coffee bar, were previously a general goods store and more recently Ponder Hardware Store.
