Panattoni Park Northampton is already a very successful scheme in one of the UK’s most important logistics locations. Three buildings totalling 625,000 sq ft were pre-let to Eddie Stobart before the completion of phase one.
The final three warehouses at Northampton of 250,000 sq ft, 430,000 sq ft and 380,000 sq ft are now being speculatively built. All will be built with a 15m clear internal height and achieve a BREEAM rating of “Excellent”.
Northampton sits in the ‘Logistics Golden Triangle’, an area that extends between Northampton, Birmingham and Leicester and is widely considered to be the most strategically important for logistics operations in the UK. The scheme is only 20 miles from the junction of the M1 with the M6 and A14. The country’s main north/south, and key east/west arterial routes, run through Northamptonshire, which is why its home to so many NDCs and RDCs. This, in turn, means the available labour force is one of the most suitably skilled anywhere in the UK.
