Since joining SRS in 2004, Dawn has been a leading broker in Dallas and across the U.S. She attributes her success not only to her passion for real estate, but also to the 11 years she spent in real estate at Gap Inc. The education at Gap Inc. prepared her to be an innovator as a broker in the Tenant Representation world. Her deep connections throughout the real estate community were formed with Gap Inc. alumni who now serve in leadership roles across the country for many of the top retailers and landlords. Raised in in Texas, she has a Southern charm with tenacity to deliver results while making each transaction enjoyable.
SRS takes a team approach to real estate. Choosing the best sites can be complex so Dawns takes a best-in-class approach and makes it a personal endeavor. She gives her clients the full service and attention they deserve, putting together the best team of experts to do that. Her teams have worked in many diverse scenarios such as rolling out wholesale accounts to brick-and-mortar, digitally native brands, mall brands exiting to power centers, outlet concepts looking to grow, retailers looking to go in malls and new concepts from the ground up. They can roll out a strategy for a retailer with an open-to-buy of one per year like they do for Hasbro today or 100 per year, which her team did for Justice for Girls and Carter’s and OshKosh! They emphasize technology, best-in-class research and extensive market knowledge to support client goals.
Dawn is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication. Dawn loves spending time outdoors and with family. She is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Being in touch with community is important to Dawn. In Dallas, she is involved in Cattle Baron’s directly benefitting the American Cancer Society, Heroes for Children, Trains for North Park Center, Dec my Room at North Park Center creating warm places for children with extensive hospital stays, Equest, Park and Palate to name a few.
