The new Theater promoter (Peter Shapiro) is building his business very fast. In 2025 Dayglo’s target is 150 shows, with a minimum of 100 guaranteed to be promoted, and advertised. Many of the events in 2024 have been sell-out concerts, bringing 400 or 500 people to the campus each time. While most of those events are on a Friday or Saturday evening, there are around are on other days of the week. The current schedule can be found at bearsvilletheater.com
There are 5+ festivals each year during the summer, which bring in 600-1,000 people each time. These are always on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
Bearsville Park is a favorite for families to walk the nature trails, the Rock & Roll trail, and to visit Albert Grossman’s grave deep in the woods, at any time.
Good publicity and a high and increasing profile. Bearsville is becoming known for the caliber of musicians playing at the Theater or recording in the Studio. In the last 18 months these artists have recorded albums, created promotional videos, or performed on stage.
