ABOUT THE PROPERTY
The village of Langold lies on the A60 about 4 miles north of Worksop and a short distance south of the A634 Blythe Road. Blythe and the A1 lies about 4 miles to the east. Langold is a former mining locality, having a population of circa 2,472 (2011 census), lying within the Bassetlaw district. The village was developed onwards from around 1924 to provide village housing for the miners at Firbeck Colliery. The village is now expanding with new houses with Langold Lakes and Country Park just to the south of the village which has a community school, library, church and community centre. The shop is located to the south of a parade of shops with adjoining units comprising a café, The Pocket Sports Bar, The Original Factory Shop, a fish bar, One Stop and pharmacy, amongst other occupiers.
