The common area amenities include a business center, bus/truck parking, elevator, fitness center, hot tub and pool, and laundry facilities. Location Overview: Duson, Louisiana is positioned in the southern part of the state and part of the Lafayette MSA, which is located 12 miles outside of the city center. The Super 8 Lafayette West is stationed on 3001 Daulat Drive with direct access to Interstate 10. The region boasts diverse demand generators and has several development projects underway. LHC Group (17 miles), an in-home healthcare service company based in the city, announced an expansion of 200,000 square feet adding 500 new local jobs to the region. The investment into Lafayette will total $46 million, and the first phase will begin immediately. In addition, a Swiss helicopter manufacturer, Koper (21.5 miles), announced the region will be the home of its U.S. subsidiary and will take up residence in the vacated Bell Helicopter facility, an 84,700 square foot turnkey solution. The state is providing Kopter $2.5 million of economic incentives to help it establish a presence.
