The California Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD),collectively referred to as State, invites you to review and welcomes proposals for cafeteria spacelocated in the May Lee State Office Complex (MLSOC) at 651 Bannon Street, Sacramento,Sacramento County, California. •The cafeteria, known as the Richards Market, will provide food service for state employees,guests, and the local community. •The dining hall is a brand-new facility fully furnished with food service equipment comprised of akitchen and service area which measures ±7,600 square feet (SF) and a non-exclusive diningarea ±15,000 SF. oThe combined service area is set up with shared storage and food prep areas, and theopportunity for up to six (6) individual service stations and a centralized cash wrap. oThe shared food service area also includes counters for online orders and refrigeratedand heated units for pre-prepared food grab-and-go. The State is seeking a qualified food service provider (referred to as the awarded bidder) to providea variety of healthy, fresh and nutritious food options and excellent customer service. Food serviceand dining hall operations could include, but are not limited to: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks,beverages, grab-n-go food, online ordering, catering and special events. At no time will alcoholicbeverages be served during the daily food service operation. The awarded bidder must maintain high level customer service and prioritize DGS’ satisfaction with food quality, pricing, menu selection, and catering services.
