Located in the heart of the rapidly-expanding Johns Island market, the Johns Island Medical Center is centrally situated among numerous developments rising along Maybank Highway. Directly across the street from 3055 Maybank Highway, a new office building was constructed at 1715 Hollydale Court. Down the street at 3417 Maybank Highway, Tupelo Bend Office Park—a four-building eco-friendly office Center—is underway. At 1989 Maybank Highway, plans are made for a ±12,200-square-foot mixed-use
development with restaurants, retail and office space.
The residential market on Johns Island is also growing quickly, with more than 2,000 homes planned. Within a one-mile radius, the following residential neighborhoods are currently planned or underway: Fenwick Woods, Oakfield by Pulte, Crowne at Live Oak Square, Woodbury Park Phase I and Maybank Village.
Johns Island Medical Center is conveniently situated 20 minutes from downtown Charleston’s Medical District, which includes MUSC, Roper Hospital and the VA Hospital, and 20 minutes from Roper St. Francis in West Ashley.
