Castaic’s regional points of interest are Castaic Lake, TPC Golf Course, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. Santa Clarita’s population and employment base are expected to double in the next 20 years. Major new communities currently under development are Newhall Ranch and Tejon Ranch, which are expected to increase population by 100,000 and 70,000 respectively and bring approximately 150,000 jobs to the area by 2030.
