Alpek Industries is exploring a sale of its leasehold interest in addition to the potential assignment or termination of the lease. The site has great truck access, is fully rail-served, and is permitted for deep-water barge access, making it a multimodal logistics hub. In addition, Celanese owns an adjacent ±1,300 acres that have not yet been studied but could also be made available for purchase, creating significant expansion potential. Strategically located with multimodal access and proximity to a Dominion Energy power generation station, the site is well-positioned for heavy industrial use.
