Nucla is located between Telluride, Colorado and Moab,Utah, and is at the base of the Uncompahgre Plateau. The LaSal Mountains and the San Juan Mountains can both be seen from town. It has a wonderful climate with lots of sunshine and outdoor recreation possibilities. The town is small and rural with a very friendly atmosphere.
