Silver Spring Township is located in the eastern portion of Cumberland County (referred to as the “West Shore”) approximately nine miles west of the City of Harrisburg. Silver Spring Township has been a popular location because of its proximity to Harrisburg, its convenient access to the local road and highway infrastructure, and its proximity to employment centers. The property is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Carlisle Pike (PA Route 11) and North Locust Point Road in the small village of New Kingstown. Carlisle Pike is a heavily traveled main thoroughfare running in an east-west direction through the township. Its 2019 Average Daily Traffic Volume near the subject property was 13,000 vehicles.
